Sparkd ("Sparkd", "we", "us") is building an all-in-one platform for independent music artists.
This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website
thesparkd.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and your rights.
We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Who we are
Sparkd is an early-stage project operated from Victoria, Australia. For any privacy questions or requests,

What we collect
- Email address — when you join the waitlist. This is the only information you actively give us.
- Basic technical data — like your browser type, device, and general location (from your IP address), collected automatically when you visit the Site.
- Usage & advertising data — if you reach us through an ad, our advertising and analytics partners may collect data about how you interact with the ad and Site (see "Cookies & advertising" below).
How we use it
- To add you to the Sparkd waitlist and email you updates about Sparkd (launch news, early access, product updates).
- To understand how people find and use the Site so we can improve it.
- To measure and improve our advertising.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We only share data with service providers that help us run Sparkd, including:
- Formspree — processes and stores waitlist form submissions (your email).
- Hosting & analytics providers — host the Site and help us understand traffic.
- Advertising platforms (e.g. TikTok, Meta) — where we run ads, their tools may collect data as described below.
These providers may store data outside Australia. We only share what's needed for them to provide their service.
Cookies & advertising
The Site may use cookies and similar technologies, including advertising pixels from platforms such as
TikTok and Meta, to measure ad performance and show relevant ads. You can control cookies through your
browser settings, and manage ad personalisation in the settings of the relevant ad platform.
How long we keep it
We keep your email for as long as you're on the waitlist or until you ask us to remove it. If Sparkd
doesn't proceed, we'll delete waitlist data we no longer need.
Your rights
- Unsubscribe any time using the link in our emails, or by emailing us.
- Access or correct the personal information we hold about you.
- Request deletion of your data — just email us and we'll remove it.
Children
The Site isn't directed at people under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Sparkd develops. We'll post the new version here with an updated date.
